%uFEFFWith experience of both in-house and the consultancy
environment across a broad rage of consumer retail and industrial
products and sizes of company I have an in-depth understanding of
design and developmebnt from customer focused concept dreation though
to implementation.
My current role involves working at a senior level within a $12
billion company as manager of Industrial Design and Interaction Design
for the Global Product Delivery Group, responsible for creating and
delivering user interfaces and product hardware with revenue in excess
of $1 billion. This involves creating future strategies for User
Experience Design, along with the practical skills of project
management to ensure implementation from inception through to
manufacture and beyond. In building and managing a large
successful team of multi-skilled and diverse professionals I have
gained extensive experience in process improvement, team development
and in working on a global scale to deliver key projects. I have
experience of managing software delivery of user interfaces using
Earned Value Management (EVM) and Agile software environment
techniques.
In addition to a solid background in creative design I have also a
business degree, which has provided the knowledge and credibility for
me to represent Design and development at the most senior level.
A strong sense of aesthetics, coupled with an energetic obsession with
quality and ease of use drives me to ensure that the integrity of
initial conspets is maintained through to manufacture. To this
end I also mange the plastics engineering team in the Uk and the
offshore design team in India.
