About me

For five years I studied photography in the education system. Over this period of time I have gained a vast array of skills both practically and theoretically within this subject area. I have sufficient experience using 35mm film cameras as well as medium format, large format cameras and video cameras.

I assisted a photographer in Brighton on commercial based shoots. These shoots have covered a wide variety of areas for example photographing sofas for an online company to photographing corporate portraits.

After this I went on to work on cruise ships as a photographer. I worked photographing passenger events and also filming them. I spent around 5 months of my contract printing on a Kodak R2 printing up to 3000 prints a day. I also maintained this machine doing monthly and 6 monthly maintenances. For a part of my contract it was also my job to edit the cruise DVD using Final Cut Pro.

Since leaving the ship I took a position at Fifth Dimension working as an imaging assistant. This involves photographing a variety of products and processing the images with a path and alpha channel. These images are then put through a variety of processes. I have also been to America to photograph various supermarkets. The images from these shoots were then stitched together for use in a 3D environment. This job also entailed project managing certain projects and looking after various clients.
