ABOUT

We had a tree built from good old MDF and then shipped it off to Iceland to photograph it. It was shot in various locations with a variety of things hanging from it. When I was given the photographs, I produced four different versions of it that would be used throughout the double album package. Once I had finished retouching the images I was then asked to make the tree look like it had been blown by a strong wind for a thousand years. So I broke it down into its separate elements and did just that. I think the bent tree is a very striking piece and was very pleased that it was used for the album cover front and an alternative verson of the bent tree was used for the box set.
