Ray is the mind of a mad man, the inner thoughts and worries of someone hiding his problems in a concealed environment. His rubiks' cube head symbolising that he cannot find the solution to get his life in order. This is made worse by the missing panels.

This piece illustrates the problems we all have and issues in others we cannot see. Confusion in depression was a scale model of the average male.
