Dear Sir / Madam,

I would like to apply for the position of Art Director as advertised on creativepool as I feel that I have right mix of skills and experience to excel at this role.

I have for the past 5 years been working at Microsoft's Broadcast Division in Soho, London as its Creative Supervisor. After being made redundant earlier this year, I am currently looking for a creative broadcast position that would allow me to utilise my skills and experience but moving away from games / TV into more mainstream digital media.

I have attached a copy of my CV to this application below. As you can see I have a great creative experience in Broadcast, Multimedia and Games along with a great deal of management experience both for managing internal teams and liaising with external teams / stakeholders.

I am highly creative and very hands on. I try to break the stereo type of a traditional art director by making sure that I have the necessary skills to lead by example and am not afraid to interact directly with the team on creative issues (an example of this would be when creating the UI wireframes for the Upload application for the Xbox one, I worked creatively and directly with the UX / UI team to show them my vision of the project rather than just telling them. )

My proudest achievement whilst at Microsoft was my time as the creative supervisor on Sesame Street Kinect, A BAFTA award winning interactive TV show for pre-schoolers (2 seasons, 8 Episodes per season) and handled every aspect of the content creation of the show.
