I have come across this job vacancy and I feel that I have a lot of skills to offer in connection with this job role. I have a degree in Visual Merchandising ,I currently run my own lifestyle blog and I often attend or take part in events. I am now looking to gain a part/full time job in the creative field as I feel these are the areas I can identify with. Whilst at university I studied different areas which consisted of fashion and lifestyle promotion, marketing, styling, space planning, visual merchandising applications, product management, project management, career planning, creative processes (mood boards) and CAD (Illustrator and InDesign).All these areas have given me strong brand awareness and knowledge about brand identities. So I am very much into the creating visual ideas with the finished product, promoting and organising and putting it out there in a different way. I am very confident communicating with people, using a computer/Mac, the internet/social media, various software and I have good admin/organisational skills.
I love all aspects of fashion, music, art and design and I am very much into trends which I find very interesting. I have my own blog which is a mix of hair, beauty and fashion, it is a collection of my thoughts and things I may find interesting. The main purpose of my blog is to keep me thinking and build on my creative writing skills.
I have previous work experience with a range of job roles in offices and on the shop floor, I have worked with Topshop, Selfridges in their creative teams and Primark in the press office. I have also done some freelance styling, worked on photo shoots both models and mannequins. I also have done some work as a model booker this has broadened my skills even further. I feel that I have so much to contribute and would like to build even further on my experience within the areas and company I feel will set me on the right path of my career.
