As I ponder in my chair
It’s raining royals outside where
People rushing to make way
The royals coming on this day
Hustle and bustle how do you do
I’ll stay right here please, no thank you
Out from their palace oh so tall
They come to visit one and all
I feel no rush and wish to think
While others cower, egos shrink
They live in clouds and rain of gold
Silken beds, of that I’m told
While I am happy with small things
I won’t say no to diamond rings
So here I sit and dream away
Of golden towers where they stay
