A dream come true – my paintings hanging in a luxury hotel. Well, I have nothing more I want except to do another one LOL! Given the opportunity by West77 Partners, working with Mike and Jacque Nielson I tried to capture their vision of urban and contemporary meets luxury and comfort. My new series LUXURY has this first painting “Koi” (2) 36x60 hanging in the conservatory room with it’s dark and light contrasts I integrated all the earthy natural colors mixing it all into a serene memory of sitting at a koi pond contemplating and dreaming of painting for all people to see and enjoy what I envision from the décor and surrounding building. With Jacque’s guiding decorator’s eye we played with color and light to pick out the right designs after doing some mock ups for her to choose from. I am so blessed and have worked hard for this opportunity and want nothing more then for everyone to go see this amazing hotel and my paintings that are spotted in the different lobby rooms.
