The Challenge
Omnia Carnival Limited aimed to captivate and inspire audiences at Notting Hill Carnival 2023 with its forward-looking theme, "Shōrai 'The Future'." The objective was to bring this theme to life across all marketing and branding channels, enhancing brand recognition and engaging a diverse audience at one of the world's most celebrated cultural events. The challenge lay in creating assets that embodied the theme’s futuristic vision while achieving high visibility and engagement.

The Strategy
To meet this challenge, a cohesive design strategy was developed to ensure that all visual elements reflected the essence of "Shōrai 'The Future'." This included creating a set of versatile brand assets adaptable for both digital and physical spaces. Our approach emphasised vibrant digital designs tailored for online platforms and social media, as well as impactful large-format designs for event spaces to maximise brand presence and capture audience attention on-site.

The Execution
Leading the design efforts, I focused on producing high-quality digital graphics, posters, advertisements, and truck banners that showcased the futuristic theme. Each piece was crafted with a unified aesthetic, ensuring that the “Shōrai” brand identity was consistently conveyed across all mediums. This comprehensive design execution facilitated a strong, cohesive experience that was visually engaging both online and on-site at the carnival.

The Outcome
The "Shōrai 'The Future'" campaign successfully established a dynamic and memorable brand presence for Omnia Carnival Limited at Notting Hill Carnival 2023. The visually engaging assets attracted significant attention, driving audience engagement on social media and enhancing brand recognition at the event.
