ABOUT

The Challenge
Caribbean Exposé, a cultural and tourism event held as part of the post-carnival celebrations in Trinidad and Tobago, aimed to attract over 300 attendees. The challenge was to generate significant interest and ensure high attendance at the event by effectively leveraging marketing channels to target the right audience and increase engagement.

The Strategy
The strategy focused on creating a visually captivating marketing campaign that highlighted the cultural and tourism aspects of the event. I developed a cohesive visual identity for the event, using it across various marketing materials to maintain consistency and recognition. The campaign was also supported by targeted online marketing, including social media posts, emailers, and a branded Eventbrite page to drive ticket sales and registrations.

The Execution
I led the creation of concept artwork, as well as designs for invitations, posters, flyers, and the branded Eventbrite page. In addition, I produced and managed all online marketing visuals and copy for social media platforms and email campaigns, ensuring the messaging aligned with the event's objectives. The content was tailored to appeal to the target audience, focusing on the unique cultural and tourism offerings of the event.

The Outcome
Thanks to the effective use of digital marketing and a visually appealing design strategy, the event surpassed its target attendance. The campaign generated significant online interest, leading to an exceeded turnout, which helped position the Caribbean Exposé as a successful post-carnival celebration and cultural event.
