My graduation project La Base was born from my interest in the press and the notion of serendipity. I chose to design a news archive website for students, researchers and journalists to highlight the human collective intelligence rather than the digital algorithm through a system of cross-listings and shared research. Users can create lists of articles about a topic as well as accessing other users’ articles. This knowledge sharing allows users to find relevant articles about subjects that other users also consider relevant to read.
