The brief was to create a more refined, DeVOL style ring-pull based off a vintage find at an antiques fayre. The design was refined through iteration of CAD tweaks and 3D printed prototypes, until a final brass prototypes was produced. The design details were refined in order to maximise the natural patina that the brass finish acquires over years of use, adding to the charm and old-fashioned feel. This traditional style ring-pull was designed to sit in the DeVOL Heirloom kitchen range, and is still on sale today, proving popular on their social media.
