ABOUT

Following the reports from the BBC that the mental health services within the NHS are severely lacking, there was a definite need for a discussion on this topic, however I felt that is was necessary to do more than merely report the statistics and instead I applied an interesting interpretation to the results of the research. Specifically discussing how self help culture could actually be doing more harm than good by perpetuating blameworthiness and removing responsibility from medical professionals.
