I am a digital editor and social media manager specialising in lifestyle, food and drink.
I love creating engaging, stand-out content and finding fresh and vibrant ways to tell new stories whilst staying on top of news and trends to enhance and develop my content strategy. I have developed a deep understanding of how different content can be produced and consequently reacted to across different platforms, reflecting the always-expanding digital marketplace whilst continuing to entertain and grow readership.
I eat, sleep and breathe social media and love to be on the pulse with the current trends - if I could sit on Twitter and Instagram all day soaking up the news, I'd be one happy hashtag-junkie.
In previous roles, I have solely managed all social media platforms, creating content for both the UK and the US with accounts of up to 1 million followers as well as creating content from social media trends and repurposing the content in newsletters and social posts. Under my management, I have seen considerable growth within social media following, engagement and impressions whilst also seeing an increase in website traffic. Additionally, I have worked with several external brands to build strategies for campaigns which included branded copy for external publications, sponsored social media content, newsletters and viral competitions.
I am now looking for a role that will challenge me and help to expand my skills whilst I contribute to the growth of the company. By developing an engaging tone that transcends to the digital audience, using analytics to review content performance, creating shareable social copy and constantly evolving with the digital content marketplace, I believe that I would be the perfect candidate.
