About me

I am searching for an inlet into the job market currently. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in July 2008 and have subsequently attended scooling at the Slade School of Art (UCL) and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (University of Arts London).

I have been in further education because I believe it is important to optimise my own skill-set. There are certain other pre-requisites for applying to jobs, I believe that to stand-out as a recent graduate, I should be able to prove an understanding of the intricacies of business, and communication as well as the ability to work well within a team such as is so often the case in a new work-force. To this end, I have studied on two short, 3-month courses in Creative Design. I now have a complete working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, as well as the Microsoft Office package. I now have a firm understanding of the professional relationships within the creative industry- specifically that of the ability to work within a strict time-deadline, budget and cthe limitations or broad specifications ) (depending) of a client design brief.

On a wider scale, I count skills in Graphic Design as being transferable- the ability to communicate a message in a clear and concise manner applies in a lot of Business. Also, the ability to promote brands, and give an image that is formulated outside of your control is important as a skill.

Mostly, I am thoroughly keen and I am reliable and ambitious.
