Baseball is the national sport of the Dominican Republic, just as some countries go crazy for football, Dominicans go crazy for baseball. So much so, that they represent the nationality with the greatest number of players born outside the U.S. in the MLB.
BHD León Bank has always supported baseball in the DR and is also a proud sponsor of the MLB.
Every year they have the challenge to create an advertising campaign, celebrating baseball in the county and BHD León's role in it.
This year we wanted to do something different, so we took one of the bank's pillars: Responsibility, to create a campaign that not only celebrate Dominicans in the MLB, but every Dominican who is doing things right in their everyday life and helps the country move forward.
We presented the MLB stars as the true fans of the Dominicans that play in the Major League of Life.

We selected two real people to showcase:
1. Fior Thompson: A middle school teacher from San Pedro de Macorís, one of the Dominican capitals of baseball. She does everything she can to be a good teacher, and teach her students not only social studies, but the way to build a better future.
2. Doctors at the Hospital Pediátrico Dr. Hugo Mendoza: Doctors are crucial in this day and age, and this ones go out of their ways to do everything they can to ensure the children of the country are healthy, safe and happy.
