I had the pleasure of designing a highly visual biography for the incredible Christina Smith - Queen of Covent Garden. The book is made up of autobiographical text, articles and interviews, skilfully curated by the late Mark Beech. The typographic design highlights this with different weights and italics used to differentiate between sources. Oversize pull-quotes highlight the fantastic adventures of an inspirational character who saved Covent Garden from demolition and who has accomplished enough for ten people during her long life.
