Through kinesthetic activity; these palm-sized objects draw awareness into interaction as a response to the tap-swipe culture of contemporary society. Sharp needles poke out from soft appliqued forms covered in rich textures and vibrant colours to create a sensory experience. This collection of handmade sensory objects hold no given narrative and instead encourages the audience to determine their definition through interaction. These pieces later featured in “L’appel de la Mer” as deep-sea creatures.
