The story begins with an intimidating orphanage where pathetic fallacy sets a gloomy
scene of 16mm rain. A downhearted pat blows a bubble that whisks him up and away. The bubble carries pat away into a psychedelic world full of colour. Hints of Pat are shown as he delves deeper and deeper into a psychedelic world before becoming fully immersed. Whether Pat returns to his previous world or is absorbed into his new one is left for the audience to decide.
