I'm contacting you to apply for a position in your company.

We are not going to fool ourselves, you usually just have a look on this kind of cover letter so I'm going to try to get your attention, I am openly going to write you.

My name is Laura Marie, I am 22 years old and it has been seven years since I fell in the pot of the beauty industry. I've got a bachelor in journalism and then, I worked as beauty consultant in France, as journalist for women magazines, mainly in Dubai, collaborated with fashion events, mainly in the UAE but not only and I currently work as PR for a beauty brand in London. I am truly passionate about my job.

If I write you, it is not to annoy you, it's quite the opposite. I write you because I am looking for a great internship in the United States, which wouldn't only be fulfilling but also (I don't want to lie) would be paid.

I would love to work with you but the only problem is that I have got no contacts, yes this famous "string pulling" which nowadays sounds like a bad word. It does not for me. It is not a bad word, I personally think that it's a strength to have contacts in this domain. The thing is I think that with your experience and my head filled with dreams, we could do and created such great things.

I don't want to show off but I've got some skills which could be helpful for the position. I am completely fluent in French and English. I've got experiences with a customer service, PR, social platforms. I am also an extremely hard-working, responsible and mature worker, who enjoys working in a team as well as autonomously. I really enjoy communicating with others, which is why I think I would be ideally suited to this role.
