Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Laura Gandul and I would like you to seriously consider my application for the position that you offer in your company, because my background and abilities match your requirements for this position.

I have recently graduated from Blanquerna School of Communications and International Relations (Barcelona) with an Advertising and Public Relations degree.

During my studies, I took advantage working in different advertising agencies like DreiBlau or Young&Rubicam to apply my university knowledge in a practical real-life working environment, but since I was working at Médecins Sans Frontières Spain, as Digital Fundraising and Marketing Assistant in the Communications and Fundraising Department, I realized that It is better to work in a charity or not-for-profit sector than in an agency, but now I'm interested in working for a design studio.

In MSF Spain I worked with the team creating multimedia content, online campaigns, websites, webforms, supporting social media projects and fundraising initiatives, but I also provide support and advice to other departments when required. I have experience of using content management system (Drupal 7), experience working with a donor database, HTML editing skills, digital production skills (photo editing, banner creation, mailing, composing publicity material etc).

I'm a freelance too and I've been working for different clients doing all kind of things (flyers, posters, business cards, websites etc.) Now I'm doing two short courses at Central Saint Martins to improve my design skills and I would like to combine it with work.

I have the ability to multi-task and work independently under deadline, and I am comfortable working as part of a team. I also have passion for social media and digital communications and I enjoy working in a creative way.

I have a professional and personal interest in exploring and learning about new ways of creating and I would like to improve my English and learn technical language too.
