About me

I am a Key 2nd Assistant Director in Film with over 11 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment on set when shooting as well as office environment during preparation.

I'm accustomed to continually adapt to new work environments as I travel with productions all over the world and always perform to a high standard regardless of the changes in process.

When thinking of the skills required as part of the production team in the making of a game and how that links to my experience, my assets would be:

. Scheduling, following and coordinating tight schedules on a 'day to day' basis

. Organising my own team and generally coordinating activity of crews of up to 500 people

. Adapting timelines to new requirements and improvising when finding obstacles during schedules

. Communicating clearly in writing and person

. Knowing how to delegate when required. Having worked in large teams I understand the importance of delegating tasks in order for deadlines to be met and all work to be completed with the attention to detail it deserves.

. Dealing with all kinds of people and personalities ''on the ground''. I have extensive experience in dealing with people in groups as a team or on a 'one to one' basis and making sure everyone is heard and understood but also making sure tasks are clear and everyone is comfortable and understands my message.

. Making information clear and concise for instance summarizing conclusions in meetings into clear documents whether that be schedules, charts or simply summary emails.

. Extensive knowledge of Office and Scheduling programs such as Excel, Movie Magic Scheduling, Word, Key Note, Pages & Numbers.

I have a basic knowledge of the Game development process and I'm currently learning to roughly use Game engines Unity and Unreal in order to further understand the process. I also love video games since I'm a little girl and in the recent years reconnected with them as I love the art and fun game-play helps me relax after a long days work.

I've always been drawn to the Game industry at the level of coordination of a team in an artistic process as a whole and I would love the transition to a more office environment whether it's working from home or on site, getting to know a team over a longer period of time and have the opportunity to apply my knowledge and work with a talented team at your studio.
