To whom it may concern,

I am writing to apply for the role of Copy Coordinator.

In my current role as Product Upload and Copywriting Suoervisor at luxury children's wear online retailer AlexandAlexa I manage a team of 4 copywriters ensuring that each individual sticks to the AlexandAlexa tone of voice at all times, that copy is SEO rich and that all copywriters and product editors are trained to the highest standard. In addition I have on occasion been required to supervise the styling team, co-ordinating product shoots, styled outfit shots and ensuring all meet their individual and team targets daily and that all work is to a high standard.

Prior to supervising the copywriting team I held the position of Assistant Product Editor and Copywriter at AlexandAlexa. Here I quickly learnt how to write concise copy for a range of high-end products including brands Burberry, Hackett, Dolce & Gabbana and Stella McCartney Kids, using Content Management Systems Magento, Netsuite and Edge Manager. From clothing to beauty, and home ware to toys through my current and past roles I have developed a commercial understanding of a wide range of products.

As a Fashion Design and Development graduate from London College of Fashion I have a thorough understanding of the design and production process that goes into each individual garment and an appreciation of the luxury market. This knowledge ensures that I understand how particular fabrics and construction techniques work. I also ensure I am always up to date with current fashion and fabrics trends across childrenswear, menswear and womenswear.

As you will see from my CV, I have additionally completed work with the production departments at Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and at Julian Mcdonald. Within both of these roles I was required to upload information and copy to the company site and blogs including images from the latest shoots and short pieces describing upcoming projects and events.

During my time with Preen I was often required to assist the press and marketing teams, gaining experience in writing for press on a tight deadline.
