We partnered with British family seaside resort pioneers Butlin’s to design an iconic new art-deco style pool at its Bognor Regis resort.
The brief was to create the most family friendly pool in Britain and ‘bring the seaside inside’.
FITCH's Creative Director Anna Chimes spearheaded a true showcase in leisure design, with features including the world’s first helter skelter water slide and a stick of rock racer slide. The pool boasts an art-deco pool influence, with bright colors and seaside classics.
We developed bespoke VR technology to deliver a preview of the proposed work to the Butlin’s board during the initial stages. This had such an impact that the content is now implemented at a consumer level to display the pool in the Butlin’s resort holiday booking shop and inspire potential guests.
Over two million tiles were used during the process, and the longest hoarding board ever printed by FITCH was set-up – totalling 134 metres!
