This visual story was inspired by last fall. It was so warm like a late summer. The Meadows of my little town were still green and full of wild flowers. Only the Sun took less and less time in the sky and reminded us that winter was coming. But until then dirvinė buožainė (earthen gourd), raudonasis dobilas (red clover) and cikorija (chicory) looked so happy. They were lucky to find light and warmth even in the fall. So was I, finding them.
That inspired me to depict these three distinctive characters. Each of them has a particular spirit. But there is one thing which links them – that‘s blooming eyes. While I was drawing them I was thinking about us, people. What a lot we mean to each other, indeed. Even when the sky is stormy and frighteningly dark – we become suns and our eyes start blooming.
I hope this story will encourage you to believe that you are the Sun.
