ABOUT
This visual story is inspired by ancient Lithuanian Baltic Gods and the beauty of nature which I discovered surrounds me. Four characters- interpretations of those gods, for ages were responsible for every creature and its well-being. ŽVORUNA was the goddess of all beasts. MEDEINA lived in the depth of the bluish-green forest and took care of every corner. AUSTĖJA was responsible for bees. And, finally, ŽEMYNA. She was one of the most important ancient Lithuanian goddesses. Under her care was the whole land, its growth, fertility and what meant the people’s well-being.
All times a human being felt their caring and safety. Till now these goddesses still take a significant role in Lithuanian’s life.
