A VFX sequence for the Chemical Brothers 2018-2019 World Tour using procedural modelling tools and mocap data.

Developed for the track titled “Keep On” we were asked to look for a visual that was part horror, paganistic, striking and modern. Our approach was to build a set of custom 3D modelling processes to generate wire/wicker type formations and allowing us to explore dozens of iterations and designs for directors Marcus Lyall & Adam Smith in a short space of time.

Motion capture data supplied by Imaginarium was applied to the mask designs to drive the animation, transforming the piece into a fully moving character based performance.
