I am extremely interested in this vacancy. Whilst I may not have traditional copywriting experience, I feel that I do have skills that I can transfer to this role and use to become a very valued employee.
I am a freelance sports writer for pay, with my work published on various websites, and I used various forms of social media to promote my articles, as well as effectively using Wordpress. I feel this demonstrates my ability as a writer and my understanding of how important social media and marketing can be for a company. I also have experience working in retail and fashion, as I held roles at Urban Outfitters and Topshop alongside my studies. Not only does this prove my interest in these industries, it also shows my ability to multitask and organise effectively, as working alongside studying is not easy.
