In 2017 an event took place where Portsmouth highlighted the skills by local craftsman. This was the opportunity to showcase local craftsman and the history of their skill. Our client, Lucielle Scott, a female blacksmith who runs her own forge in Eastney Portsmouth, required a book to be created to best represent her trade and that of the craft of blacksmithing. We created a large book using letterpress design, and traditional design techniques. The finished product was a 25 page A3 book printed on black cartridge paper and featured a steel spine.
