ABOUT
For the Tokyo E-Prix, we collaborated with the Nissan Formula E Team and Japanese illustrator Kentaro Yoshida to create a special edition livery for their home race. We reimagined Nissan’s signature Sakura theme in an 16-bit visual style, inspired by retro arcade games and the electric buzz of Tokyo’s streets.
The launch followed the release of NISMO Electric Racer Tokyo — an old-school arcade game we also worked on with Kentaro. Thousands of fans, including drivers Oliver Rowland and Norman Nato, jumped in to compete for high scores. It’s been amazing seeing a digital idea come to life so vividly in the real world.
