Built from a handful of photographs taken during a single afternoon in the basement of The Bee’s Mouth pub in Hove, the film resurrects The Electric Song Company—a Brighton band that played only a few gigs before disappearing. The archive included one photograph of American musician Jack Strutt in his twenties and a contemporary portrait taken forty years later. Generative AI was used to bridge that distance and create a meditation on lost love, regret and the weight of moments that slipped away.
