The company had turned 25 and one campaign I was pushing for them to do was to run a promotion offering 25% off to show gratitude to their loyal customers.
Quba being a nautical clothing company and their staple product being their X10 jackets it only seemed right that the promotion should be 25% off their renowned product that has made the company what it is today.
I created the animated hero based with a nautical sailing vibe with a background ocean vector and the zigzag stitch from the X10 jackets as well as the typeface used on them to keep a relation to the product.
The focal point begins with the sailing boat wheel which spins and then the copy detailing the promotion following spins in too and then the wheel gradually slows down.
