A creative thinker, I am an experienced graphic designer for print and digital currently available for full time, freelance or contractual employment. I offer significant experience in communication design and branding across all media and am proficient in a broad skills set that primarily lies in Adobe technologies, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver etc. (CS6) with a strong knowledge of print process & finishing.
I use most major social media platforms. I am competent in preparing artwork to current universal web and pre-press standards (with sound knowledge of finishing techniques) and I am proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I am articulate with great written and verbal communication skills.
Until recently I was also a part-time lecturer at The University of Derby teaching Web Design and Visual Practice where I taught a basic course in web design which introduces the students to XHTML, CSS, Usability, Design principles and basic Flash animation.
