Kevin McCloud setup HAB Housing in 2007, to build communities and deliver sustainable, and beautiful, affordable homes. We were tasked with developing the creative and brand direction for this unique housing development company as well as designing and building a fully responsive website reflecting HAB Housing’s unique values and offering.
After our initial insight stage and workshop with representatives from the building and marketing departments, we established the route for the creative. HAB Housing hadn’t yet developed a strong brand and we set this as a priority. We also worked collaboratively to establish the ‘what’, ‘who’ and ‘why’ values for the website.
The branding was applied throughout the website, which is fully responsive, ensuring a smooth customer experience regardless of the device the user is viewing the site on. The website differentiates HAB from more traditional housebuilders, with an emphasis on real imagery and a focus on the lifestyle and community feel of the development. The use of real case studies from people who live in one of HAB’s developments helps build up a picture of what it’s like to live in a HAB house and brings to life the sense of community living.
The website has a comprehensive and flexible CMS that allows our client to build pages, add galleries and content areas to keep the site up to date, communicating their message effectively. HAB Housing also has control of the ‘look and feel’ of the site. They’re able to change the background colour of each section, allowing them to brand up each development page to match their offline materials and creating consistency across all media.
Stage 2 was all about creating a fully integrated bespoke CRM solution. After researching the market it became clear that there wasn’t a CRM tool that complemented what HAB offer, as they offer something so unique and are trying to change the way the property scene operates. So, we built them one!
The new HAB CRM and website had to sync all property and lead data allowing them to manage the sales process from one system. The CRM has a range of features to give the customer a smooth and enjoyable experience. The tool takes them through the whole journey; enquiry, purchase, interior design, finance and more. HAB now have a CRM that has been designed to work the way they do, thanks to our vast experience in this sector.
Since the launch of the site, there has been great feedback from visitors who are really loving what HAB are doing and are excited about their unique approach to homebuilding. The website has been designed to develop with the growth of HAB housing. With the recent addition of the CRM, HAB now have the complete ‘bespoke’ package to operate their marketing and sales procedures. Compared to the same period as last year, we’ve seen an 87% increase in visitors to the site and organic search traffic is up by 75%!
