ABOUT
Developed with fashion designer Nicole Zhang, the project explores an immersive spatial environment informed by the nomadic cultures of Africa. References draw from tribes such as the Peul (Fulani) of the southern Sahel and the Touareg of the Sahara, alongside the Toubou and Afar, whose textiles, mobility, and desert dwellings inform the conceptual framework.
A tent-like architecture unfolds through layers of suspended fabrics and filtered light, evoking the transient structures of nomadic encampments. Guests inhabit the space informally, seated on the floor or on discreet seating concealed behind cascading drapes descending from the ceiling.
Within this intimate setting, the designer’s latest collection is gradually revealed as part of a multisensory spatial narrative.
