ABOUT
Rooted in African architectural heritage, this eco-resort in the Comoros Islands blends tradition with nature and modern sustainability.
Comoros Bahari Ecolodge is conceived as a nature-immersed hospitality retreat designed to reconnect travelers with the surrounding landscape. The resort is organized around a central core hosting shared public and commercial spaces, from which a range of accommodation typologies extend into the site.
These include family lodges within dense tropical vegetation, lagoon cabins elevated on stilts along the water, and ocean-facing villas oriented toward views of the Indian Ocean. The work presented illustrates selected phases of the design process, combining early sketches, site planning studies, and architectural concepts developed through traditional tools and AI-assisted visualization.
