The brief was to develop the Corporate Identity and Website Design for a new law firm called Beneke Gantley Inc. Beneke Gantley Inc. is a South African law firm, led by two female lawyers.

The law looks at the two sides of a situation and a verdict is made based on evidence. It’s like looking at two sides of the same coin. The identity will be created from a ‘coin design’ perspective: one side with a logo and the other side with a crest.

The crest is made of iconic symbols relating to law. A blindfolded Lady Justice is featured in the middle. This represents objectivity and impartiality. Justice should be without fear or favour. A curved feather appears at the top of the crest. This represents the Feather of Truth. A curved sword appears at the bottom. This represents the nature of law when a verdict has been reached. Swift punishment is given.

Once the corporate identity was created for this law firm, a website was created in the same look & feel.
