Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you in response to your advertisement for a junior designer with fresh, innovative and creative ideas to bring to Isabella Oliver.

I have recently graduated from London South Bank University with a first class degree in BSc (Hons) Product Design and I wish to become a part of your team.

During university I have designed and made many different products. Along with making fully working prototypes I also have a background in branding, packaging, and exhibition design.

I have a year's worth of experience at VOSLED and VOS KRISTALL (an LED lighting company specialising in the high end market) where I was a Junior Lighting Designer and Creative Designer. I was also the company's main graphic designer at the beginning of my placement, designing various magazine advertisements and brochures.

Along with a keen eye for design, I strive for perfection and I love to learn new things. I have a very strong background in making, having made working prototypes for many of my projects (including all electronics).

I am a motivated, hard working team player and a working for Isabella Oliver would not only help me to improve my design skills but also introduce me to new ways of design thinking. Working with you would not just strengthen my skills but I am sure I could help bring new ideas and views to the table too.
