A few samples of some of the work I did with Kapow Pictures on Netflix's original animated series, "Adventure Beast."

I was one of three people on the show whose main duties were creating the designs of the characters, outfits, props, variants, special poses and angles.

This is a show that features a vast array of animals and it was my responsibility as a designer on this production to create animal characters that, while somewhat cartoony, accurately portray the size and anatomy of each animal whilst always adhering to the established visual style of the show. As such, conducting visual research into each animal was very important, and it quickly became routine to choose a particular photo of the subject to add to the model sheet for reference.

Along with the design itself, we also needed to scale it down to it's actual size compared to the human main character.
