To Whom It May Concern:

I am looking for a new career challenge that utilises the skills honed in my previous roles and applies them to a new and exciting position. My prior management role along with my organisational/business skills would be a good fit for the position of Studio Manager.

My primary background is account service. When I set up a new company division called Draftworks, my job morphed into a broader role including studio, account and operations. I have managed a large team of people (including creative, studio, production, proofreading etc), handled multi-million dollar budgets and been involved with process improvements and cost saving initiatives. I also worked closely with finance, procurement, internal and external vendors, legal and HR. In addition, I have issued P.O.s, approved invoices, hired vendors and staff.

I am a strong negotiator and use those skills both internally and externally for the benefit of the business. I'm looking for a fun place to work where I can partner with my colleagues to produce positive and exciting results.

I moved from New York to London in October 2009. After taking a break to settle into the country, I am beginning my job search.
