Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you in application for the role of Graduate Account Executive for your renowned design and production agency Tag:. I am eager to express my intense interest in this role and my suitability for its requirements. I have a genuine and driving interest in a career in your agency and would value this opportunity greatly, working above and beyond my work requirements in order to deliver the best outcome and gain the experience a career in this industry requires. I am a driven hardworking individual, having gained a high 2:1 in my degree whilst also gathering experience in roles which have well equipped me for this role. I have experience in project management, having undertaken a nine month display management work placement with the National Maritime Museum. Through researching, designing and implementing this display, I have gained the ability to organise and time manage a project effectively. I am also confident liaising with professionals and my seniors, and have experience in delivering reports on my work and being pragmatic when directions have to change. I have been noted for my exceptional communication skills, not only in my appointment onto the aforementioned work placement but also in being chosen as student ambassador for the University of Exeter. In this position I was required to take telephone enquiries, give presentations to prospective students and run cluster question and answer sessions. I not only excel in verbal communication, I have also spent three years as an active writer of the campus newspaper, being promoted to co-news editor. This required me to write regular word pieces while also managing a team of up to 12 writers and editing all work before its publication. I am always highly organised, and my experience as a sales assistant at Billabong has developed my ability to delegate work and ensure tasks are completed on time. I am a forward planner and work well to deadlines, and am extremely keen to follow a career as an account executive in the design industry. I am highly numerical having gained GCSE's in both Mathematics and Statistics, but I am also able to think creatively about a project. I am professional but also confident and personable, and try my upmost to be approachable to all people. I am always looking at what's new in the design and production industry, and would relish the opportunity to be part of this fast paced company. I feel that the work Tag: has done on such campaigns as the 'TalkTalk' poster campaign and the 'BBC New Talent' Television commercial are at the forefront of today's media, and I feel my enthusiasm for such campaigns would be an asset to your business.
