An exercise in typographic play, this project was inspired by the desire to create a typeface using machine learning programmes.

Exploring a human approach to these future technologies, I began to combine pre-existing typefaces, namely Baskerville and Helvetica, in various ways to emulate deep-learning image generation. Producing an array of outcomes, the idea was to work in a mechanical manner, removing the designer from the equation and constraining myself to strict regimented rules.
