As human beings, we are all constantly faced by people of a more superior hierarchal status on a day to day basis, but within the LGBTQ+ community, the hierarchy is really pushed onto people through the use of social media. When communities are faced with steep hierarchal figures, just like in work place situations, a number of problems can arise, such as; people getting overlooked when it comes to trying to express themselves. The LGBTQ+ community does tend to have the preconceived conception of being a catty environment, but this has only really developed more so since the rising of social media. This projects main goal was to accentuate the models persona to this elevated form, a direct representation of persona’s online who elaborate themselves in order to work their way up the social hierarchy.
