Dear Net-A-Porter,

I believe I would make an excellent candidate for the role as a Junior Video Producer.

From 2005 to 2008 I attended a Video Production degree at the University of Gloucestershire. During the three years, I learnt all aspects of production which included a lot of camera operating and editing on Final Cut Pro. And although a lot of my work as a camera operator or director centered around short pieces of fiction, I still believe I have the right skills to excel as a Junior Video Producer.

After University I moved to London, and continued to work on productions as a runner. Work I was involved in were adverts, short films and even a fashion promo for eg fashion, with company Creative Nation. In the last few months I have worked for a family media company, selecting and retouching photos, QCing videos and creating DVD menus, however I would love a chance to get back behind the camera and help create the videos, and I hope you give me the chance to do that.

I do not currently have a showreel but can provide one if required.
