About me
My name is Kieran Armstrong, I am 23 years old, and I am currently studying a Masters in Popular Culture. During my time at university as both an undergraduate and postgraduate student, I have learned many valuable skills. Assignments have taught me that I should plan my time effectively and work towards deadlines. Additionally, I have developed my communication skills to an excellent level. My experience and skills have allowed me to transfer them to the workplace.
Whilst working at United Utilities as an Administrator, I contributed to the planning of the recruitment and retention month. I successfully planned out the days and towns that the representatives would visit over the month of October. Furthermore, I updated and adjusted the membership database, providing up to date details for members and representatives. When required, I would create and send out weekly newsletters to members, updating them on their benefits, news and events.
Outside of the workplace, I spend my time volunteering for various Pride events within the North West. I volunteer for the Identity Network as well as Liverpool Pride. These events allow me to represent United Utilities, whilst also engaging with a variety of different and unique people. I am passionate about equality and peace, and these events allow me to spread that message.
