The aim of this project is to create a campaign which raise awareness of people about social media and provide a useful tool to use social media more reasonably. That tool is the app SoSavi. In addition, an animation video was produced to promote the app and a microsite was designed to present the information of this campaign.
The concept of this app is that users can plant a tree character in a committed time. The time will count down and the tree will grow over time. During that time, users cannot use social media. If they try to do that, the tree will die immediately. The more time they committed to stay away from social media, the more the tree will grow and the more awards they will get eventually. As a result, users will not only grow a fully mature tree but also actually concentrate on other meaningful activities without social media.
