Description:
The concept behind "Apastron" was to explore the universal themes of separation, connection, and the pursuit of love through a music composition and accompanying video. The term "Apastron" symbolises the farthest point between binary stars, representing moments when we feel farthest from our desired destination or loved ones. The voyage that mirrors the journey through life's expanse and the diverse experiences and emotions we encounter finding what we feel completes us. Representing the furthest point between binary stars, symbolising the times when we may feel farthest from our desired destination, or the one we love, yet it's precisely these moments that enable us to appreciate the closeness and beauty of our shared orbits with them, or in realising our hopes and dreams. The aim was to create an auditory and visual experience that mirrors life's journey, capturing these diverse emotions and experiences.
