Originally created for a music Library Submission (HitLicense), Reflective Moments is now on SoundCloud as one of my Classical arrangements. I started the writing in Sibelius 7.5, with a piano part, then adding more instruments and working into a nice Orchestrated work.
Then I moved /upgraded my notation program to Steinberg's Dorico Pro, a new (at the time) Music Notation program.
The tense Violin part (within the middle of this piece) took effort within Logic Pro, using all the Expression maps and a few more effects within the DAW. It created an interesting and intense moment, before the piece repeats with the Timpani roll.
I describe the moods from romantic / gentle, to a stronger sense during the main Violin Melody. Moving the attention towards the Cello at the end, the Cello give a nice completion, as in rolling hills from a Mountain. Hope the imagery make sense.
