Freshly graduated from my Master in International Fashion Marketing, I am now looking for a position that will allow me to use my knowledge and experiences acquired during my professional and academic years. Fashion has always been a place for me to express myself, from drawing to creating or styling; eventually working in retail for several years I started to develop a fascination for Visual Merchandiser.
Having the chance to experience so many different positions within the Fashion Industry helped me to understand my strengths and the advantage of growing in a company. For example, when I worked for the independent brand WHYTE STUDIO, I had the opportunity to grow position which helped me achieving better result and performance. During this time I also learned the value of knowing who the brand customer profile is and analysing the brand competitors.
My time in H&M as a Visual Merchandiser made me understand the values and the responsibilities of this position. Like any position in the Fashion Industry I rapidly realise that my role will sometimes overlap; which kept me passionate as everyday was not the same. This position gave me the curiosity to understand more about the marketing side of a brand, which was the reason why I decide to focus my master in Marketing.
Being someone really active, multitasking and organised, I find enjoyment in the position of visual, creating eye-catching product displays and store layout to attract customers and encourage sales.
Through all my experiences in retail, I realise how major it is to include your team and to stay well connected regarding the performance of the store. Communicating with the rest of the team about new products, merchandising changes will not just support the store but will also allow sharing your knowledge and passion for someone else to grow within the company like someone did for me.
I look forward to meeting you in person and discussing the details of this position. In the meantime, please find my CV attached.
