The Careers and Enterprise Company wanted a new website that encouraged professionals in England to sign up to become Enterprise Advisors in local enterprise partnerships. The EAs would work with local schools (primary and secondary) and teachers to advise them on the right programs to help the next generation be prepared for the world of work. The cold spot data for England ranged from the cold to coldest spots which means the areas that had the most need and were the most at risk of falling through the system. The client didn't want to use WordPress and they wanted an interactive map included in this new site. We worked in an Agile manner to identify the project objectives, set the roadmap, develop the persons and user stories which would then inform the UX/UI. The site was built in Ruby on rails and the map was an out of the box solution which was reskinned with filters to help users understand where the LEPs are and the areas that received different levels of funding.
